The EnterVol Product Suite is retired as of July 2024 with the deprecation of ArcGIS Desktop. We provide support for migrating to Earth Volumetric Studio for all users with current subscriptions.
EnterVol provided true 3D volumetric modeling in the ArcGIS Desktop environment. The EnterVol Suite consisted of 4 components which were installed as extensions in ArcMap and ArcScene. EnterVol provided high level volumetric modeling that was previously not available except in our own Earth Volumetric Studio. EnterVol used the same proven technology in C Tech’s Earth Volumetric Studio software which is used worldwide by customers such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Environment Canada, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, U.S. Geological Survey, British Geological Survey, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Energy Laboratories, United Nations, and the majority of the world’s largest engineering and environmental consulting firms.
Every model that could be created in EnterVol can be produced in Earth Volumetric Studio, which offers far greater power, flexibility, and precision. Earth Volumetric Studio provides a complete superset of EnterVol’s functionality — including advanced geostatistics, sophisticated geologic modeling, comprehensive volumetric analysis, and high-quality 3D visualization and publishing — along with hundreds of additional capabilities that were never available in EnterVol. Users migrating from EnterVol will find that Studio delivers a significantly more capable and streamlined workflow for all of their modeling needs.
GIS centric organizations could address all of their modeling needs within the familiar ArcGIS Desktop environment.

EnterVol Volume Analyst
EnterVol Volume Analyst was the analysis and visualization component of the EnterVol product suite. It imported volumetric geology and/or analyte models created in EVS or models created with EnterVol GeoStats or EnterVol Geology components. It performed subsetting (plumes, cuts, slices, cross-sections, contouring, etc.) and analysis (volumetrics) inside of ArcGIS. 3D visualization of these models was performed using ArcScene.

EnterVol GeoStats
EnterVol GeoStats built complex geologic models based on stratigraphy and/or lithology data. When used with EnterVol GeoStats, analyte data could be mapped into the true volumetric geologic models. Using the same technology in C Tech’s EVS & MVS software, our expert systems guided you through the process of performing 2D and 3D volumetric estimation using Kriging and inverse distance weighted. Required EnterVol Volume Analyst.

EnterVol Geology
EnterVol Geology built complex geologic models based on stratigraphy and/or lithology data. EnterVol Geology’s Smooth Lithologic modeling was unlike anything you’ve ever seen. When used with EnterVol GeoStats, analyte data could be mapped into the true volumetric geologic models. Required EnterVol Volume Analyst.

EnterVol Tools
EnterVol Tools provided several fundamental capabilities to ArcMap and ArcScene users including building closed multi-patches (pseudo volumes) from two rasters of arbitrary resolution or extent, enhanced view controls, labeled axes, data labeling, direction indicator(s) and more. This product was included with all components of the EnterVol Suite.
